sinnamon's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- gangsta etiquette So here's a little piece of surreality for anyone out there to ponder. If Paul tells you that someone they knew died recently, well was basically shot to death in their own home, then later tells you that this newly dead person was a hardcore drug dealer, what kind of behavior is appropriate here? I mean, obviously you want to comfort Paul, because hey, Paul is good people, you like Paul, he is your buddy. But Paul's dead friend was into some hardcore shit, that doesn't mean he deserved to be shot of course, but still, you cant really feign the kind of sympathy you might be able to conjure if the deceased was a little kid or something like that. You dont want to even show in the headlines on your face that your thinking hmmm but its hard to keep the eyebrows down. Butyou also cant give the obligatory horrified opened mouth because thats just too obviously fake pity. Maybe I am just going to hell because I dont really think what a loss when a drug dealer kicks the bucket. I blame The Sopranos Anyway, for anyone (like Miss RoseJeide) who missed The Apprentice on Thursday, they are doing an encore of the first episode on Wednesday at 8 PM; the new episode will be on Thursday again. Which means no Scrubs, ratings WHORE NBC. But watch it and we can talk amongst ourselves. 10:27 PM - 011104 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
